Apr. 25--CENTER TWP. -- A long relationship between the Beaver County Humane Society and the veterinarian who shares its Center Township building is ending in bitterness this month.
Dr. J. Stuart Evans, who has operated the Memorial Animal Clinic for 10 years, was asked to vacate his office at the end of April, giving him a month's notice.
An angry Evans charged that the lease termination was a personal issue and wondered why the humane society would ask him to leave after he has performed many discounted spay and neuter operations for the shelter, among other services, over the years.
