A murder-mystery whodunit proved once again to be a winning fund-raiser for Prairie Center Arts Foundation members.
"Good Will Haunting," an original play written by Rob Pileckis, Prairie Center production supervisor, drew more than 500 people during its two-night run last weekend at Schaumburg's Prairie Center for the Arts.
The shows opened with a dessert reception set around a chocolate fountain provided by the Barn of Barrington. The dessert theater combination served to raise about $15,000 for the center's programming, said Lucinda Flodin, foundation executive director.
