The first day is the first day, no matter how late the clock reads.
Clinging to his goal of being picked on the first day of this weekend's NFL draft, Oregon offensive lineman Adam Snyder sneaked in just before the final bell when the San Francisco 49ers selected him toward the end of Saturday's third and final round.
Snyder, primarily a tackle for the Ducks but projected as a guard in the NFL, was taken with the 30th pick in the third round, 94th overall.
