CHATSWORTH, Calif. -- Image Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq:DISK), a leading independent licensee, producer and distributor of home entertainment programming in North America, announced today that it has acquired the rights to distribute over a dozen comedy DVD titles to be produced by Just For Laughs, one of the world's premier providers of comedy programming.
The agreement means comedy fans in the U.S. can look forward to DVDs that will feature some of the world's top stand-up comedy talent from Just For Laughs' star studded comedy archives and footage from their international hit TV show "Just For Laughs Gags."
