Flexo 2005, held in mid-March at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, England, was the fifth in a series of biennial shows supported by the European Flexographic Technical Association. As Europe's only dedicated flexo event, suppliers represented all aspects of the technology for labeling and packaging. A new exhibition organizer was in charge this year. It decided to expand the show by including suppliers of digital printing and converting technology. About 20 percent of exhibitors at Flexo 2005 featured some aspects of digital technology.
