CINCINNATI, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) Council of Cincinnati announces the creation of Ohio's first charitable pharmacy - a pilot project designed to provide free, professional pharmaceutical care to people in need, in partnership with the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati. Billed as the "pharmacy of last resort," the new pharmacy will serve those unable to pay for discounted medication, those who don't qualify for other programs, and those who simply need help navigating the options available for prescription medication. The SVDP Charitable Pharmacy will be fully operational in early 2006.
