Gareth jenkins is adamant it would be wrong for the British Lions management to put pressure on teams to wrap members of Sir Clive Woodward's squad in cotton wool. The Lions' assistant coach spoke out after naming New Zealand-bound Dwayne Peel in the Scarlets' line-up for tomorrow night's Celtic Cup quarter-final with the Dragons in Newport.
Jenkins choose the Wales scrum-half star despite the Lions being hit by a mini-injury crisis a fortnight after the 44-strong squad to take on Graham Henry's All Blacks was named.
