The bid deadline has again been extended by just over a month to 8 May for the estimated $1,000 million-1,500 million retendered contract covering the Ahmadi oil storage and export facilities project. Just two companies and groups are expected to bid for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract, which calls for the construction of 11.4 million barrels of crude storage capacity at Ahmadi.
