In this article attention will be focused on the description of the life-world of visually impaired adolescents. The target population of this research was visually impaired adolescents who at least were able to communicate in English, Tswana or Sotho. They were to be between 14-23 years of age. The study was conducted in two phases. During phase one of the research semi-structured phenomenological interviews we conducted.
