Ramond Silverstein had the experience of many would-be authors when he sent a proposal for a business book to 75 agents and publishers.
He received 75 returned copies and 75 rejection letters.
"I could tell most hadn't even read the proposal-it was in pristine condition,'' he says.
But Mr. Silverstein hasn't resigned himself to the ranks of the unpublished. The president of Chicago-based PRO: President's Resource Organization, an advisory club for small business owners, plans to publish the book himself.
