The one shocking revelation of Bradley Beesley's Flaming Lips documentary is that frontman/ mad scientist Wayne Coyne is in fact quite normal.
Yes, he may cover himself in fake blood at shows and has a penchant for orchestrating entire symphonies out of boomboxes and car stereos. But deep at heart, Coyne - like bassist Michael Ivins and drummer Steven Drozd - is a down-to-earth Okie.
