The European Commission authorised on April 26 the acquisition of Slovakias Slovenske Elektrarne (SE) by the Italian energy company Enel. The Commission found that there were no overlaps between the merging parties activities. Enel already operates in the Bulgarian electricity sector and provides electricity to Romania.
