May 02, 2005 (The Australian Financial Markets Newsletter - INSTO - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Coca-Cola Amatil is marketing a traditional US private placement via ANZ Investment Bank and Nomura. The Australian listed beverage company seeks to raise $A150 million in five-year, seven-year, 10-year, 12-year and 15-year notes. The transaction will be denominated in Australian dollars. Proceeds will be used to refinance a bridge facility put in place for an acquisition. Coca-Cola Amatil raised $US275 million in the US private market in February 2004.
