KINSTON, N.C. _ ``Hey, Seinfeld!'' yelled the fan at a July 4 game in Winston-Salem, N.C., clearly trying to get under the skin of Kinston Indian right fielder Marc Marini. ``Hey, Seinfeld!''
Minor-league baseball fans are among the best hecklers in sports, but this time there was no payoff.
``I just started laughing,'' Marini said. ``I turned around and looked for the guy in the crowd. I thought it was funny.''
Kinston assistant general manager Billy Johnson thinks the undeniable resemblance between Marini and the television comic Jerry Seinfeld is humorous too, but he's doing more than just laughing about it.
