The Interactive Advertising Bureau is rebranding as the Internet Advertising Bureau as it transforms into an advertiser-focused organisation.

The rebrand makes it clear that the IAB intends to focus purely on Web advertising and won't branch out to other digital channels, as expected when it changed its name from Internet to Interactive three years ago.

This is despite the fact that the majority of other IABs around the world, including in the US, operate under the 'interactive' umbrella and represent all interactive media.
