So now we know the official shape of the Phillipson-era IAB (see Profile, page 14). And the first change is that the 'I' now stands for Internet rather than Interactive. Standards-making and lobbying have been passed to IAB Europe under the stewardship of former IAB UK chief executive Danny Meadows-Klue. The focus is now on persuading those companies Phillipson labels 'sceptics' to try online advertising, and encouraging recent converts to the medium to spend more.
