WASHINGTON, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Yitzhak Rabin Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, today announced that it has been awarded a grant from the American people through the U.S. Department of State to create the Israel Society and Democracy Educational Center, a comprehensive educational project that includes interactive exhibits and supplementary educational programs. The grant will cover programmatic expenses for the 2005 fiscal year. The government of the United States joins the governments of Germany and Norway, which have also made generous allocations to the Yitzhak Rabin Center.
