EDINA, Minn., May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- JDL Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Communications Systems, Inc. , today announced it has received a $6.7 million dollar contract from the Oakland (California) Unified School District to provide LAN connectivity to 23 K-12 schools.

JDL Technologies will deliver LAN design-build, integration, testing and certification services in 23 schools. This network will provide connectivity for voice, data, and video for all classrooms, computer laboratories, libraries, instructional and work areas.
