WASHINGTON, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Linkin Park, America's best-selling rap metal band, has demanded to be released from its contract with Warner Music, in reaction to news that just $7 million of the planned IPO's $600 million in estimated proceeds will go to the company and its artists. WMG Executives have lashed back at the band, claiming its managers operate with 'fictitious numbers.'
