Fort Myers, Fla. -- Terry Francona is getting into traffic accidents. Johnny Damon is headed for the Daytona 500. Doug Mientkiewicz is gone, but his baseball is back, at least temporarily, and is on tour.
Pedro Martinez is also gone, playing in New York. Derek Lowe is too, playing in Los Angeles. David Wells is here and already has cut the sleeves off his T-shirt.
Newly acquired reliever Matt Clement's tenacity already is being questioned. Reliever Bronson Arroyo has gotten rid of his braids. And it's open season on the Yankees' Alex Rodriguez.
All this commotion means the Boston Red Sox ...
