WestPoint Stevens Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: WSPT) (www.westpointstevens.com ) today announced that the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (the "OTCBB") has assigned the new ticker symbol "WSPT" to its common stock. Effective today, the common stock will be quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board. The OTCBB is a regulated quotation service that displays real-time quotes, last-sale prices and volume information in OTC equity securities.
