37 Senators Ask DOT for Favorable Consideration, Including 10 Members Of Senate Commerce Committee
In an unprecedented display of bipartisan support for greater international aviation competition, 37 U.S. Senators today sent a letter to Department of Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta, urging DOT to promptly approve American Airlines' application to offer codeshare service with British Airways .
