May 5--PORT CHARLOTTE -- In the midst of an unprecedented construction boom, a local builders' association is celebrating its 20th anniversary year with a new home, a new county and a new name.
Charlotte Builders and Contractors Association past presidents and current officers, building officials and area business owners gathered under a tent Wednesday evening for dinner and groundbreaking ceremonies for the new CBCA headquarters. The building, located on Toledo Blade Boulevard between Collingswood Avenue and State Road 776, is being constructed by Ron Hill's Homestead Maintenance and Improvement Corp.
