Ever since he was sworn to office, in June 2003, the BVI Chief Minister, the Honorable Dr. Orlando Smith, has been determined to boost tourism to the Islands. A key focus, however, in his continuous effort to advance the sector, currently generating an estimated 45% of the territory's national income, has been to enhance the quality of service offered to visitors to the Islands.
