Want in on a little secret? As much as ATV racers hate to admit it, mud races can be fun for them. We've all raced them, and as much as we complain that mud races can ruin equipment and create havoc when in a points race, once the gate drops, they can be a lot of fun.
Round 2 of the ITP/Moose ATV MX Nationals turned out to be one of those dreaded mud races. With Friday's practice finished and laps put onto the track, it was clear the surface and dirt underneath couldn't hold much more water. That's when Mother Nature decided to have some fun.
