A Romiley credit broker has lost an appeal against a decision by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) to revoke his consumer credit licence, which enabled him to provide loans for his customers.
The OFT's original decision was based on the fact that Michael Anthony Morris, of Romiley, Stockport had a conviction for driving a motor vehicle when disqualified. He also failed to fully declare other convictions when applying for his licence and when applying to renew it.
