TONY and friends are back yet again, but before you join the dancing in the streets, reflect upon the sheer inefficiency in this country. It is something we take for granted.
In the past week, I have been confronted by it in an especially petty way.
On Sunday, I went to King's Cross to buy a ticket to go to Cambridge. After, and not before I'd bought the ticket, the man behind the glass told me that the service would be "Diverted, man."
