Patrick R. Carney of Des Plaines
The family and friends of Patrick R. Carney (formerly of Westchester) will meet for services at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at the chapel at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Per Patrick's wishes, there will be no visitation. Born Aug. 13, 1915, in Chicago, to John and Catherine (nee McNamara), Patrick passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2005. Patrick was the last of 13 children of a wonderful large Irish family. Patrick was very proud of being Irish. Patrick's mother was 45 years old at the time of his birth and Patrick was welcome into this world by many sisters, brother, nieces and nephews. He was lovingly referred to as "Uncle Ray." He ...
