Indigo's printing breakthrough. ('E-Print 1000' digital offset color press)

Indigo will introduce its E-Print 1000 digital offset color press that will make short-run color printing financially feasible at British and US printing equipment exhibitions in Sep and Oct 1993. Indigo has already received pre-exhibit orders for several hundred units, indicating its potential to dominate the $25 billion US color printing market. The company spent 16 years in research and development to produce the first press to combine offset printing with digital imaging technology.

In a breakthrough in printing technology, Indigo soon will introduce the world's first Digital Offset Color press, which will dramatically cut the costs of short-run, top-quality color printing.
