MIAMI, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- South Florida-area Toyota dealers report a 54 percent hike in retail pickup truck sales in July over the same month last year. 
In Southeast Toyota's five-state region, retail pickup truck sales climbed 23 percent in July over the year-ago month.  Nationwide, retail pickup truck sales advanced 16 percent in July over the same month last year. 
Southeast Toyota President Pat Moran cited the growing popularity of the all-new intermediate-size T100 pickup and Toyota's attractive lease and financing programs as reasons for the surge in truck sales.
