BRITAIN'S biggest mobile networks were last night accused of breathtaking hypocrisy over their failure to take action against the ringtone rip-off.
We can reveal that Orange helped ban Jamster! - one of the biggest firms responsible for the scam - in Denmark.
But in Britain, Orange says it cannot take action against the firms responsible despite a flood of complaints about Jamster! and other ringtone sellers.
Meanwhile Orange - and the other networks - continue to rake in money in the UK from ringtone services. Orange claim 35p from every [pounds sterling]1.50 premium-rate text message sent to its customers' ...
