City Administrator Bill Goetz has long been the public face of Fort Mitchell, leading the city he loved through change and growth.
He never sought the spotlight, but he spent 24 years in two of the city's most visible positions -- first as mayor and more recently as city administrator.
Goetz began his city service as a volunteer firefighter at the age of 19. Now 46 years later, he's ready to retire.
Those who have worked with him say he'll be sorely missed.
