LANGLEY, Wash. -- Hedgebrook, a non-profit organization inspiring women to author change, in partnership with the Arab American Community Coalition, is pleased to present Women Writers of the Arab World. This first-of-its-kind month-long series of public events features some of the most exciting Arab women writing today. Award-winning Arab writers include Raja Alem (Saudi Arabia), Fadia Faqir (Jordan/U.K.), Suheir Hammad (Palestine/U.S.), Choman Hardi (Iraqi Kurdistan/UK), Alia Mamdouh (Iraq/France), and Ibtihal Salem (Egypt).
