May 7--Jim Harrison is stepping down as executive vice president of The Development Corporation of Knox County to return to a private-sector career in commercial development.
Harrison will continue to work on Development Corp. projects on a contract basis, however, Development Corp. CEO Mike Edwards said Friday.
"The things he does that are unique and important in negotiating sales and making complicated deals happen, he will continue to do for us," said Edwards, who also serves as president and CEO of the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership.
