Power Integrations, Inc. has released version 6.0 of PI Expert Suite, the company's design software for switched-mode power supplies. The PC-based software package automates the design of flyback, forward-converter, buck and buck-boost power supplies. The software takes a designer's power supply specifications and automatically determines the critical components needed to generate an energy-efficient power supply.
