Seth Kaller is a man of letters.
George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, John Adams. Frederick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony and Horace Greeley are just a few of the hundreds of authors of historical documents that Kaller has handled, bought and sold.
Kaller is an agent--a go-between--for a client seeking to own a piece of history. And history can be expensive: $1.5 million for a rare printed copy of The Emancipation Proclamation, which called for the abolishment of slavery and set the stage for the 13th Amendment.
