Congratulations - your child has just been identified as gifted or talented in some way. The big questions now: What does it mean and how can you help that child maximize his or her potential?
Tonight, Susan McGowen will share some answers with parents of children of all ages at a free workshop, open to the public. McGowen, a doctoral candidate and graduate assistant at the College of William and Mary, will present hands-on activities for parents as well as some of the latest research in working with gifted children.
