Despite an economically difficult environment, the world's largest erotica group Beate Uhse was able to continue to grow and expand both in terms of turnover and profit during the first quarter of 2005. A rise in turnover of 3.5 percent compared to the same period last year was recorded (EUR 81.7 million). The pre-tax result increased correspondingly, namely by 3.6 percent to EUR 6.8 million.
