CHICAGO -- The Terra Foundation for American Art recently announced its $3,625 million grant to the Archives of American Art, the largest and most widely used resource on the history of art in America, to dramatically increase access to its holdings. The grant will fund a comprehensive, five-year program to digitize the archives' most important resources, including the papers of a highly diverse group of artists and art-related figures from the 18th century through today.
