Crime prevention partnerships are an increasingly popular approach in the co-production of community safety. However, there is some confusion about and improper use of the term "partnership." To clarify this concept, this study defines partnership and what distinguishes it from other collaborative approaches. Quebec's leading crime prevention experts were surveyed to get feedback on their perceptions and experiences of the partnership approach.
