Jul. 28--It's a not-so-bueno summer thus far in Buena Park, where the area's premier tourist attraction doesn't have a new dress and the town's convention and visitors office remains without a permanent leader.

Troubles at Knott's Berry Farm, centerpiece of the city's tourism industry, were underscored Monday when the western theme park said it was dismissing a dozen workers from its administrative staff. Among those jettisoned by the park Tuesday was Karen Yoshikawa, general manager of the park, the company's three off-site restaurants and its Camp Snoopy at the Mall of America in Minneapolis.
