CarrAmerica Realty Corporation today announced the start of construction at 1900 Pennsylvania Avenue, a new 650,000 square foot office and retail building for the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Designed by the architectural firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, 1900 Pennsylvania Avenue will be located adjacent to the International Monetary Fund's existing headquarters at 700 19th Street NW.
