Studies Evaluate Clinical Benefits in Diverse Treatment Populations
Schering-Plough Corporation today reported results of several investigator-initiated clinical studies presented here at the 53rd Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) evaluating new treatment strategies for patients with hepatitis C involving PEG-INTRON(R) (peginterferon alfa-2b) Powder for Injection in combination with REBETOL(R) (ribavirin, USP) Capsules. In all, 40 studies with PEG-INTRON were presented by clinical investigators.
