Canfor Corporation (CFP:TSE) announced today the appointment of Frank McKenna, former Premier of New Brunswick, to the Tribunal adjudicating its North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Chapter 11 claim against the United States Government. This appointment represents the next step in the NAFTA Chapter 11 process following Canfor filing its Statement of Claim on July 11, 2002. Both Canfor and the United States are entitled to appoint one member to the Panel within 90 days from the filing of the Statement of Claim.
