As part of the nationwide effort to deter flu outbreaks, Eckerd Corporation will offer flu vaccination clinics beginning Tuesday, October 15th at 1,500 local Eckerd drug stores through November. Customers can obtain information on the dates, times and specific store locations by contacting 1-800-ECKERDS (1-800-325-3737) and choosing option #4 or logging onto http://www.eckerd.com/flushot . The cost of a flu vaccine is $20. Medicare patients who present their Medicare Card will receive a flu vaccine at no charge. Customers can also obtain a pneumonia vaccine at a low cost of $25.
