ExpressJet Holdings, Inc. today reported second quarter net income applicable to common stockholders of $29.7 million, or $0.55 diluted earnings per share -- an increase of 10 percent over the second quarter of 2003.

The results represent ExpressJet's thirteenth consecutive quarter of improved earnings, due in part to the company's continuing efforts to reduce year-over-year unit costs.
