FORT WAYNE, Ind.--Aug. 23--There ought to be a monument somewhere in Fort Wayne to Ethel Mossman.
Whatever her charms, they played a role in making Fort Wayne the center of the magnet wire industry in the United States. This industry has provided hundreds of jobs in northeast Indiana for most of this century.
Ethel was the daughter of William Mossman, a prominent Fort Wayne businessman. In 1907, Ethel married George A. Jacobs, of Dudley, Mass., who was working in Cleveland for Sherwin-Williams Co., the paint maker.
