LATROBE, Pa., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Secretary of Banking Bill Schenck today joined Latrobe Mayor Warren Marckioni to encourage local school boards to opt in to Act 72, The Homeowner Tax Relief Act, by the May 30th deadline so that residents can receive property tax relief.
"Pennsylvania's homeowners want and need property tax relief," said Secretary Schenck. "But homeowners will only receive property tax relief if their school board agrees to participate by the May 30 deadline."
