CIT Small Business Lending Corporation, the nation's No. 1 SBA lender for the past four years and a subsidiary of CIT Group Inc. , was honored as "Small Business Export Lender of the Year" during the Small Business Administration Expo '04: Celebrating National Small Business Week, May 19-21, 2004 in Orlando, Florida.
The Export Lender Award is given annually to SBA lenders who have provided a significant number of loans over the course of the five preceding years using the SBA's Export Working Capital and Export Express programs. In addition to number of loans, loan performance is considered as part of the selection process.
