Claro, one of the two largest mobile telecommunications providers in Brazil, has again selected Harris Corporation to support a major expansion of its extensive GSM, TDMA and GPRS network. This expansion project will result in one of the largest applications to date of the Harris NetBoss(TM) network management system, managing more than 10,000 network devices with a capability of handling up to five million events per day.
